Free Site SurveyA large share of a building's heat escapes through the roof, and most leaks start there too. Roof insulation tackles both: waterproofing keeps rain and snow meltwater out, while thermal insulation stops top-floor flats from being cold in winter and overheating in summer.
Tiled roofs
Tiles are lifted and a waterproof underlay (membrane or breathable roofing felt) is laid, the timber structure is checked, mineral wool or XPS insulation is added where needed and the tiles are relaid.
Terraces and flat roofs
We apply torch-on bituminous membrane, liquid polyurethane or acrylic waterproofing. Falls and drain details are corrected and upstands at parapets are raised at least 20 cm to stop water creeping back.

No. Most leaks come from local defects such as a broken tile, a gutter joint or a chimney flashing. We first go up and find the source, and repair only that area if that is all it needs.
